Congratulations to our yoga champions!

We are so proud of Madeline Figlewski and Griffin Peddicord for their representation of our studio and our region at the 2010 Youth International Yoga Asana Championships, held in Los Angeles on February 14. The trip was an adventure, as we drove through the blizzard to be able to catch a flight out of Raleigh to get to LA on time! It was definitely worth the struggle though (like yoga itself—the more the struggle, the better the rewards…). Madeline placed 6th internationally, against some stiff competition—very impressive. Griffin placed 1st as the International Youth Champion for 2010. By including yoga asana in the Olympics, we can inspire even more people to discover the benefits of yoga practice.
